Webcams are easy. Editing is free. Artists are willing. Why are there so few videos?

GILLIAN AYRES ‘88
In 1988 I was invited, by Gillian Ayres, to film her in her home and studio in Cornwall.
In those days editing video at home on a computer wasn’t even a remote possibility.
I had to buy a super 8 movie camera to do it.
After editing it was transferred to
VHS video tape. But recently I had this converted to a digital computer file, and
I’ve now re-edited that to re-create my film in this new format for the Internet.
